Server rules

Respect the world, the people who build in it, and the classic gameplay we are here to enjoy. These are the existing PublicEvo rules, translated into English.

This page is a summary. The existing full rules document remains the reference and may be in Russian. Ask the administration if a rule is unclear.

0. General principles

  1. 0.1

    By joining the server, you agree to follow these rules.

  2. 0.2

    Treat other players, moderators, and administrators with respect.

  3. 0.3

    If you believe a penalty was applied in error, you may submit an appeal on the forum.

  4. 0.4

    The administration has the final say in disputed situations.

1. Gameplay

  1. 1.1

    Do not steal. Never take another player’s belongings without permission.

  2. 1.2

    Do not destroy, damage, or deface another player’s builds.

  3. 1.3

    Do not build on, or immediately next to, another player’s territory without the owner’s consent.

  4. 1.4

    Do not build traps that obstruct or harm other players.

  5. 1.5

    Player-versus-player combat is allowed only with the consent of everyone involved.

  6. 1.6

    Do not encourage other players to break the rules.

  7. 1.7

    Do not use software or modifications that give you an unfair advantage. Exceptions: performance optimizers, minimaps, and schematic tools.

  8. 1.8

    Item duplication and exploiting bugs are prohibited.

  9. 1.9

    Do not use other accounts to evade a penalty.

  10. 1.10

    Do not create builds or carry out actions that overload the server, cause lag, or disrupt other players’ experience.

  11. 1.11

    Real-money purchases relating to gameplay on the server are not allowed.

2. Chat & conduct

  1. 2.1

    Do not insult others or incite hostility.

  2. 2.2

    Do not spam or repeatedly post the same message.

  3. 2.3

    Be honest with the administration. Do not mislead administrators.

  4. 2.4

    Do not advertise other servers, websites, or similar services.

  5. 2.5

    Do not share someone else’s personal information unrelated to the server without their permission.

  6. 2.6

    Report bugs, defects, duplication methods, and rule violations to an administrator or moderator promptly.

3. Additional rules

  1. 3.1

    If you have already forgiven a player for a violation, do not submit another complaint about the same incident.

  2. 3.2

    You may have no more than two additional accounts.

  3. 3.3

    Do not ask for items to be restored after a death caused by your own actions.

  4. 3.4

    Do not request a teleport without a valid reason, such as being stuck.
